Founder and Artistic Director, Stephen Burdman, began his career with great internship opportunities. With that in mind, New York Classical's internship program is designed to give important hands-on training and experience to college students and emerging artists in the professional theatre. Positions are available in Stage Management, Costume/Wardrobe, and Production with the opportunity to attend 4-5 Master Classes taught by professional artists in such areas as Voice & Speech, Directing, Casting and Shakespeare’s Verse. Interns are paid a transportation stipend and earn Equity Membership Candidacy points. For each production we hire 7-10 interns.
